Editorial Policy

Every sign guide on ToddlerSignLanguage.com is checked against established American Sign Language references before publication. Sign demonstration photos show real signers and are sourced from openly licensed collections with attribution displayed on each page.

We distinguish between adult ASL form and the simplified approximations babies typically produce, and we note that baby sign language supplements spoken language rather than replacing speech development.

Our content is educational and is not a substitute for professional advice. If you have concerns about your child’s speech, hearing, or development, consult your pediatrician or a licensed speech-language pathologist.
